If you are interested in helping us to ensure we respond to the needs of the people who use our services then we hope you will consider putting yourself forward to become a Governor.

Nominations to ELFT’s Council of Governor Elections are now open. We are seeking local people living in the following areas below where there are vacant Governor seats. We also have two Staff Governor vacancies.

Our Governors, elected by our members and staff for a term of three years are vital in helping us to make the right decisions about how we plan, run and develop our services and to make sure the views of our members, users of our services and their carers as well as local people are taken on board.

Our Governors are an important part of how the Trust operates. They hold us to account, raise questions, and speak for and to their communities.

Collectively all Governors are known as the Council of Governors and they work with the Trust Board and staff in a joint endeavour to improve our services by performing a range of statutory and non-statutory duties.

This is a unique opportunity to learn, share and give back - and constantly be inspired too.” [Public Governor from Hackney]
