ELFT's Mental Health Care Strategy Group is setting up a focus group seeking service users and carers who have had experience of accessing Bedford and Luton and Dunstable Hospitals.

The aim of this work is to look at ways in which safe and quality care can be provided to service users requiring mental health services in the acute setting (i.e. A&E).

To help shape the strategy we want to gain an understanding of the service users and carers journey when accessing A&E services or being admitted on one of the wards.

Are you a service user or a carer of someone accessing ELFT Adult Mental Health Services?

Have you accessed services from one of the following?

Bedford/Luton and Dunstable Accident and Emergency services;
Bedford/Luton and Dunstable Wards.

If ‘Yes’, we’d like to hear about your experience including:

What worked well?
Is there anything that could be improved?
How did staff communicate with you?

The focus group is taking place on Thursday 19th August, 14.00pm – 15.30pm and will take place via zoom.
