Marica Wainner, the Trust's Health Development Co-ordinator for the People Participation team, is delighted to announce a range of fitness & recovery programmes about to take off, plus information about a women's BAME cycling group for people living in Tower Hamlets and a Stratford based peer-led walking group.
On the programme of events, Marica says:
"The projects are now into their 12th month and although a lot of it is taking place online this year, the energy or enthusiasm from everyone involved has been amazing with 200 registered participants regularly accessing the weekly classes.
It's a great way to connect with others and maintain activity during isolation supporting you to achieve your health and fitness aims whilst reducing isolation and loneliness and improving both physical and mental health.
A lot of us have probably got some fitness goals to set after a year of lockdown. Get involved! You won't regret it."
And don't forget the day of fitness activities for women all planned to coincide with next Monday's International Women's Day. Full details here>>
