On April 1 2021 the seven Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in north east London formally came together as one new clinical commissioning group for NEL - the NHS North East London Clinical Commissioning Group (NHS NEL CCG). This will allow for more collaboration, building on the work of the North East London Commissioning Alliance.

NHS NEL CCG will continue to be a clinically led organisation with strong clinical leadership and a GP voice at all levels. There will be one NEL CCG governing body with many decisions taking place through local governance arrangements.

You can find all the contact details on the new NEL CCG website here>> https://northeastlondonccg.nhs.uk/

Newham

Newham is structured so that individual practices are grouped into clusters led by an elected Cluster Lead. Each cluster also has an elected NCCG Board member to represent the views of the cluster at Board level.

The clusters act as a liaison between individual practices and the CCG Board and Executive to ensure that local needs are highlighted and met. The clusters also act as a conduit for all key stakeholders of the local health economy, including service providers, voluntary and third sector organisations, the local authority and public health. Each cluster is supported by dedicated NCCG management staff.
