LEAP (Living Experience Advisory Panel)
To ensure we get the opinions of those who have experienced psychosis, we have a ‘lived experience advisory panel’. The LEAP helps to support the research team at all points through the programme of research, offering their expertise and insight into what it is like to live with, or care for someone, with psychosis.
The LEAP meet 2-3 times a year and engage in a wide range of activities, such as advising on the intervention development, ensuring the language that is used is inclusive and appropriate, and helping to decide which questionnaires we use within the research.
The LEAP expert members come from all walks of life and reflect the diversity of people affected by psychosis.
