Trust Board Business Meetings are Open to all Staff and the Public

Trust Board Meeting Dates 2021/2022

Trust Board Meetings
The Trust Board meeting in public will start at 13:00 and finish at 15:00

Presentation: Our ‘teatime’ presentation on Quality Improvement and/or People Participation will start at 15:05 to 15:30. A five minute break after the Meeting in Public will precede this.

We are now able to hold face to face Board meetings. These will operate as a hybrid meeting where members of the public can also join via Zoom.

Our Infection Prevention and Control carry out the necessary COVID-19 (Coronavirus) safety checks of meeting venues in the interests of protecting our service users, patients and staff.  In addition, we will provide masks, hand sanitiser and sanitising wipes for all attendees.  We will ensure appropriate social distancing.

To help ensure a safe environment for all, if you intend to attend in person please confirm by email to elft.membership@nhs.net

Board Papers
Board papers can be accessed here. An Agenda and Board papers for the next Board Meeting can be accessed a week before. We record the meeting solely for the purpose of minute taking - recordings will not be published.

Questions
Questions about agenda items must be submitted by 12 noon two days before the meeting to elft.membership@nhs.net  Answers will be provided at the meeting, or in writing afterwards, depending on the number of questions and the detail required if contact details are provided.

Questions submitted at the meeting via the Zoom chat function or during the Questions from the Public item on the Agenda may be answered on the day where possible; alternatively we will provide a full reply following the meeting.

Questions and feedback can also be submitted outside of meetings through our normal communication channels.

Meeting Etiquette

By attending the meeting either virtually or face to face you are agreeing that you will not record in either video or audio format the meeting in whole or part.

In keeping with ELFT’s values, we ask all participants to respect the Chair and the speakers at the meeting, and to listen with interest and an open mind.

Meeting considerations if you are joining by Zoom:

  • Please log on ten minutes before the start of the meeting if possible to ensure a good connection
  • Please keep your microphone on the ‘mute’ setting during the meeting
  • The meeting moderators may switch off your video feed to reduce bandwidth. You will still be able to see all active participants
  • If you are experiencing technical issues, please feel free to leave the meeting and rejoin.

For the best experience, we would recommend downloading the Zoom client at Download Zoom>>

We will show closed captions (subtitles) for those who find hearing what is being said during the Zoom meeting a challenge. Instructions for showing/hiding subtitles can be found here.
