Our plan was created with a Task and Finish group that represented all voices, including members, service users, governors and Board members.

We have have been working hard to create a more meaningful membership that supports the current values and visions of both ELFT and across the wider population we serve.

Join free now: become a Trust member

We welcome members from anywhere in England, but especially the areas we serve: Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire, City of London, Hackney, Luton, Newham and Tower Hamlets. The minimum age requirement is 12.

Trusttalk Magazine

Our magazine 'Trusttalk' is produced on a quarterly basis. The publication is a great way for members and the public to learn about the key stories through the Trust.

Governors and Members Office

We have a dedicated team to support our governors and members. The team role includes keeping members and governors informed about developments within ELFT and ensuring the Council is effective and has impact.

Foundation Trust Membership

Foundation Trusts are a specific type of NHS Trust. Foundation Trusts have a duty to engage with their local communities and encourage local people to become members. They are still a part of the National Health Service but have more autonomy in return for local accountability.
