A Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist is required for the South Bedfordshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. The post is a 6 PA substantive post, though a fixed term contract will also be considered. The post-holder will join the Neurodevelopmental Team in South Bedfordshire. 

NDT is a long-established service for the assessment and treatment of young people up to the age of 18 years, their families and carers living in South Bedfordshire.

The post-holder will join the Emotional and Behavioural team at Beech Close Community CAMHS, a long-established service for the assessment and treatment of young people up to the age of 18 years, their families and carers living in South Bedfordshire CAMHS. The post holder will hold a joint Clinical Team Leader position in a well-established joint leadership structure with a co-Clinical Team Lead.

The consultant will be expected to work with local managers and professional colleagues in the efficient running of the service and will share with consultant colleagues in the medical contribution to management.
