Offers for Volunteers

Once you become a Volunteer with ELFT there are many benefits that you will gain access to. These have been put in place by the Volunteer Service team as both a thank you for lending your time and hard working nature to East London NHS Foundation Trust, but also to aid you in your future endeavours and career dreams with the NHS beyond volunteering.

If you scroll down you will also see several websites that Volunteers are allowed to register with. These are dedicated to granting discounts for NHS workers.

Monthly 121 sessions with the Volunteer Team to discuss your placement and consider your future goals
Guided supervision from the department/service you are volunteering with
Monthly 'Meet the Professional' and Q&A sessions where volunteers will be invited to hear from NHS professionals about their career journey and gain valuable guidance and insight
Annual Volunteer Awareness Week (1-7th June) celebrations dedicated to thanking you for all the hard work you do.

Signing up for a Blue Light Card can get you several discounts for thousands of retailers. For some locations that may not accept your ID card, you can use your BLC instead.

For just £4.99, members of the Blue Light community can register for 2-years access to more than 15,000 discounts from large national retailers to local businesses across categories such as holidays, cars, days out, fashion, gifts, insurance, phones, and many more."

Tickets for Good

This website allows you to sign up as a member of NHS staff for discounted and free tickets for events happening around the country. This includes concerts, festivals, theatre etc..

"We know how important live events are to society and culture, but we also know they can be difficult to attend - every year tickets are getting more expensive and harder to find. We are here to break down that barrier, by giving free and discounted live event tickets to the NHS and charity workers."
