UK Black Pride’s 2022 in-person celebration of our collective POWER.
The LGBTQ Network and BAME Network have a stall at BLACK Pride on Sunday 20th August from 12:00 - 8:00 pm at The Olympic park in Newham. We are proud to represent ELFT at this important event in Stratford. Come and see us at the stall that we are hosting right in the Heart of Newham in East London – where we will be sharing advice and information and proudly supporting BLACK Pride in East London and all those we serve.

Undergoing the Allies Training enables colleagues to get an idea of what it means to be LGBTQ.
It provides the opportunity to the attendees to develop insight, and awareness around LGBTQ+ people and develop skills on how to treat those individuals with more respect, offering a safer and better place to work or receive care. LGBTQ staff and service users face inequalities in their experience of NHS healthcare. Hate crime is on the increase.
Despite the progress made toward LGBTQ equality in recent years, many people still face significant barriers to leading healthy, happy, and fulfilling lives. In ELFT, the training is led by Fiona Lord, ELFT’s LGBTQ+ Network lead.
