They are a new type of meeting that will be held in your locality in conjunction with other local groups already running in your community. The feedback we have received from our members and other local trusts tells us that signposting and information on general healthcare, staying healthy and voluntary services that you can access are important to you. With that in mind we have been trialling a new format. We join local groups or events and other Trusts, bringing representatives together to complement the meeting needs and the local community needs.
Our governors will still be there to meet you. At past meetings we have been joined by local the smoking cessation team, the CRISIS team, the Cost of living advisor and our Recovery colleges. We have also held events at the Homerton and Newham hospitals.

Who can attend?
Numbers may be limited, depending on the size of the venue. You may be asked to register in advance of the meeting so that we can manage any catering. The meetings will be free for attendees.
Length of meeting?
The meeting times will depend on the type of event, but generally no more than 90 minutes, depending on the nature of the setting, although we may take over a shorter section of a wider agenda.
