Beyond Shelter: Unlocking Potential and Unlocking Hope has been organised by the Trust on behalf of partners across Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes (BLMK).
It will be held at The Rufus Centre in Flitwick from 1.30pm-5pm on Tuesday, June 25.
Presentations and discussions will include an overview of the pathway and how it was developed, the case for change, approach to implementation, recovery-focussed services, strengthening the review process for care packages/placements, driving pathway delivery at place and raising the bar on quality.
The pathway programme covers provision of care and accommodation for all working age adults who may have mental health needs across Bedford Borough Council, Luton Borough Council, Central Bedfordshire Council and Milton Keynes Council communities.
“Our message throughout has been that we want professionals and service users to share their expertise and help create a system where people leaving hospital and clinical settings are empowered to articulate their own goals and maximise their independence in the right accommodation,” said Marek Zamborsky, ELFT Programme Director – Personalisation.
The pathway event is open to:
- People who use East London NHS Foundation Trust or Central North West NHS Foundation Trust services ( in BLMK)
- Social care and NHS mental health professionals across BLMK
- Voluntary, and Community Sector Organizations
- Housing Association providers
- Providers of Residential and Supported Living Serviced for people with mental health need
Contact your care co-ordinator or named worker should you need support registering or attending the event.
