Lucia Vambe, Karen Griffiths, Stephanie Aidoo, Narenza Dhanasar, and Ola Ojuolape are now Queen’s Nurses.
The title recognises their exceptional contributions to nursing practice, patient care, and leadership.
Stephanie, Karen, and Lucia part of the Practice Development team are driving nursing excellence across the Trust. Based at East Ham Care Centre, Beaumont House, and the Trust HQ, they design and deliver training programmes to support nursing staff's professional growth. Their mentorship fosters continuous learning, embedding best practices to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Ola is based at Health E1 Homeless Medical Centre in Tower Hamlets. She has extensive experience as a General Practice Nurse, working with vulnerable and homeless patients in the borough. Julie Roye, Head of Nursing for Primary Care, praised her dedication and commitment.
Nurse Consultant Narenza Dhanasar, from the Newham CAMHS Neurodevelopmental team, was also honoured with the Queen's Nurse title after a competitive selection process. Narenza has worked as a Nurse Prescriber and with homeless populations, earning recognition for her outstanding contributions.
The Queen’s Nursing Institute Annual Awards Ceremony will be held in London on November 29.
The achievements of these nurses not only enrich the Trust but also serve as a source of inspiration for the wider nursing community.
