Members of all ELFT directorates gathered at Venue 360 on Tuesday, March 7, to shape their own directorate annual plans and align them with the Trust-wide annual plan and strategy.
It was an opportunity for colleagues from across Newham, City, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire and Luton services to meet in person and discuss shared challenges and solutions.
The away day also involved commissioner colleagues for the first time, with representatives from Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Integrated Care Board (BLMK ICB) and North East London Health and Care Partnership (NEL HCP) involved throughout the day’s discussions.
“It has been wonderful seeing everyone working together in person,” said Chief Executive Paul Calaminus.
“I think that is something we need to do a lot more of over the next year. So much good comes from being in a room together, enjoying the working and thinking about how we can take things forward.”
He added: “It is also really encouraging to see how central the priorities set by our service users and carers are for all directorates as well as environmental sustainability and how we take forward our green plan as a Trust.”
