Working with healthcare partners including the ELFT Quality Improvement team, technology company Improvewell developed a data driven digital tool aimed to enhance staff wellbeing and are through as finalists for the Workforce and Wellbeing Initiative category.
The project utilised the Institute for Healthcare Improvement's framework for Joy in Work, which has been successfully adapted by ELFT.
The ImproveWell tool has spread from supporting ELFT's local programme to national and international collaborative projects.
ELFT’s Quality Officer Dr. Amar Shah leads the Royal College of Psychiatrist’s programme on Enjoying Work through his role as national improvement lead for mental health and the ImproveWell innovation has been taken up there.
Cofounder and CEO of ImproveWell Lara Mott said: 'The platform was pioneered and shaped by ELFT and the evidence based approach is demonstrated by case studies from other heathcare providers.
"ELFT's commitment to their staff, by working hard to ensure they are engaged and happy in their work is at the core of this innovation.
"Everyone at ImproveWell is delighted to be finalists for the HSJPartnership Awards. This is a digital tool that can genuinely help transform staff engagement."
On the collaborative project making the HSJ Partnership Awards final, Dr. Amar Shah, ELFT Chief Quality Officer said:
