Associate Clinical Director and CAMHS QI Lead Dr Sophia Ulhaq, and General Manager Kamel Cheradi co-authored the Community Eating Disorder Service (CEDS) QI project report published on BMJ Open Quality from 23 March 2025.
The project titled, ‘Improving capacity and flow in a children and young people’s CEDS: how a quality improvement initiative led to a reduction in waiting times in the service’ appears in Volume 14, Issue 1 of the journal online, here.
The BMJ Open Quality publishes high quality, peer reviewed healthcare improvement work with articles covering original research and has an acceptance rate of 61%.
Dr Sophia said: “We are thrilled to share the news that our paper on the CEDS Capacity and Flow QI work has been published in the BMJ Open Quality. We are grateful to everyone who contributed, and for the ongoing support and encouragement from our CAMHS Directors and QI Department.
