Georgina has been recognised for services to the community.
She is the founder of the Primary Health Awareness Trust, a charity that works to increase people’s physical and mental health. In her role as secretary for the charity she helped to organise many popular online health activities during the COVID pandemic.
Georgina has been a social worker with the Trust's Community Teams since 2017.
On receiving her award, Georgina said:
“This is a great honour. I am delighted to be recognised by Her Majesty the Queen in this way. I get a great deal of joy and pleasure from working alongside my many friends across Hackney and elsewhere to promote good health and better living."
