Matron Graham Manyere has been nominated as the BAME Nurse of the Year and Samuel Ogunkoya is BAME People Participation Worker for the Trust's Community Mental Health Transformation project and is nominated for the category Inspiring Diversity and Inclusion Lead.
Graham is considered a role model in the team for ensuring high quality and compassionate nursing practise and for ensuring a proactive approach to reducing inequities in service provision for BAME patients and staff development. He is also the co lead for the Trust BAME Network.
Samuel works to ensure that the views of BAME groups are heard and is a seen as a great influencer, able to inspire and motivate so as to improve services for BAME staff and communities.
