Leading the way, improving care and adding value
Since 2014, over 1000 people at ELFT have joined the Improvement Leaders' Programme (ILP) to develop their QI expertise and apply it to real life improvement work and projects across the trust. Wave 11 of the programme concludes in April 2022, with the next wave due to commence in November 2022.
This 5 full-day course (spread over 5 months) includes a mix of interactive teaching sessions and action workshops and will guide you through the Model for Improvement.
Who can join?
- Anybody leading QI projects
- Anybody who has completed Open School and Pocket QI and wants a deeper knowledge around QI
- QI sponsors
- Service Users & Carers
- Project team members, project leads, management
- DMT members
- Consultants and speciality doctors
- Senior nurses (band 6 and above)
- Senior pharmacists or senior technicians
- Psychologists
Our only ask is that you:
- As staff, gain approval from both your line manager and service users through a People Participation lead
- Can apply the learning to an active QI project

Wave 12 Venue
