If you are thinking of having a baby or had a baby in the last twelve months or so, and live in the Luton area, this event is for you.
It will be an opportunity to find out about what is available locally, learn new skills to help you and your baby thrive, as well as meet new people who understand what you are going through.
27 January, 11.00 am - 1.00 pm Luton Central Library, St George's Square, LU1 2NG
Partnership Senior Lead for B&L Recovery College Kirstin Dear said:
"This is a great opportunity for new parents to come along and find out about the help that is available out there in terms of mental health and wellbeing.
"Having a baby or preparing to have a baby can be a real shock to the system - both for mums, birthing people, dads or partners.
"This will be a safe space for everyone to talk about exactly how they feel, with health professionals present who are experienced in this area.
"It will also be a chance for people to make friends and network with other people in similar situations, and is for health professionals as well."
Organised by Bedfordshire & Luton Recovery College, the ELFT Ocean and Perinatal Services and Cambridgeshire Community Servicess (CCS) NHS Health Trust Visiting Service.
Everyone welcome.
