The team from the Newham Transitional Practice (NTP) have been awarded the Non-Clinical Team Award at the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) North East London Faculty Recognition Awards.
They were commended for their flexible, compassionate, and patient-centred approach which ensures that even the most vulnerable patients receive the respect and care they deserve.
During the awards ceremony, it was highlighted that the team has fostered a culture of collaboration and support within the practice, creating a welcoming environment for all.
The team attended the RCGP awards ceremony on Friday, November 8, 2024.
Dr Duncan Trathen, GP at Newham Transitional Practice, said: “This award reflects the dedication and hard work of our team. We’re thrilled to see our efforts to engage with patients and improve healthcare access recognised in this way.

NTP is part of East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT).
