Ed Lander, the Service Manager said, "We warmly welcome people to come along to find out more. Working in mental health crisis care is a critical part of mental health care support. In this team, we have the opportunity to intervene when people feel they cannot cope any longer. In crisis work, you have the ability to turn a situation around and really make a difference. I am looking forward to talking to people about the team and sharing how fulfilling it is to help someone take that first step to move forward in their life."
Working in the Team
We are looking to recruit innovative and independent practitioners who will be provided with an opportunity to work in a developing and nurturing team. The role will involve flexible working in both Newham Home Treatment Team and the Crisis Assessment Service on a shift pattern basis. Applicants will be triaging crisis calls, conducting in-depth crisis assessments, and formulating treatment plans with the support of an MDT. Additionally, applicants will be providing daily intensive care to the service users under the care of HTT. We are seeking applications from a nursing and social work background and welcome confident clinicians who are able to work well under pressure, supporting those who are in great distress and unwell.
