ELFT's Chief Executive, Paul Calaminus has been named among the country’s top NHS chief executives by the Health Service Journal (HSJ).
Paul, who has led ELFT since March 2021, is named in the top six chief executives from the HSJ’S eighth annual ranking of the NHS’s top 50 provider Trust chiefs.
Eugine Yafele, chief executive of Dorset HealthCare University Foundation Trust, took top spot on the list.
In second place was Tracy Allen from Derbyshire Community Health Services Foundation Trust.
Paul, formerly deputy chief executive and Chief Operating Officer for ELFT, was named among four runners-up from the list compiled by the HSJ.
“This is tremendous recognition of Paul’s outstanding leadership abilities as we continue to focus on patient centred care and continuous improvement, with an eye on reducing inequalities,” said Eileen Taylor, Acting Chair East London NHS Foundation Trust.
“Paul’s partnership approach with NHS and other organisations role models the future of integrated care.”
