The conference took place in the afternoon, from 2:00pm-5:20pm. The first half of the conference was hosted by Mathijs Lucassen, a Reader in Mental Health at City St Georges, University of London. While the second half Nathan Davies, a Professor in Ageing and Applied Health and Care Research ad Queen Mary University of London hosted the second half.
The afternoon saw 15 studies, discussing a wide range of research from promoting digital access amongst people using mental health services, to the experience of loneliness in perinatal depression.
Each speaker had ten minutes to present their study and there was an opportunity for the attendees to ask questions and share their thoughts.
The 45 minute break at 3:15pm was an excellent opportunity for attendees to look at and discuss the posters that demonstrated findings from certain research studies. It also provided the chance to network with representatives of ELFT’s research partners, including Queen Mary University, the North Thames NIHR Clinical Research Network, City St George’s, University of London, ELFT’s own research team and more!
A huge thank you to all the researchers who were able to distill months (or even years) of work into a clear and engaging 10-minute summary, to everyone who attended, and to Associate Research Director Karin Albani and her team for organising such an insightful and fascinating event.
