Miles Tringham is the new PP lead for adult mental health services in Luton.
He has worked for the Trust in Bedfordshire since 2018 in a number of different roles, from supporting CMHT and Early Intervention Service (EIS) colleagues to a year with the Quality Assurance (QA) team.
PP enables service users and carers to have a say in how we run the Trust and is about working together so we can offer a better service to all.
“People Participation helps service users and carers grow, supports them on their journey and involves them in decisions we make to provide better care,” said Miles.
“I am incredibly proud to have joined a team that makes such a positive difference to the lives of so many people.”
He added: “My message to service users and carers is that PP can be whatever you want from it. There is so much and you can do any of it or all of it – from clinical audits, interview panels and QI projects to CQC preparation or service user-led accreditation.”
Miles said his priority for the coming year is to grow the Luton PP Working Together Group (WTG) and promote awareness of opportunities for service users with patient-facing clinicians.
