East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) is celebrating the announcement that two of its projects have been selected as finalists for the HSJ Patient Safety Awards 2023.
ELFT Community Health Services, Tower Hamlets Adult Social Care, Neighbourhood Mental Health Team, and Tower Hamlets Homecare have been recognised for their work in the category of Best Use of Integrated Care and Partnership Working in Patient Safety. Their initiative, the Tower Hamlets Integrated Safety Huddle, showcases exemplary collaboration for enhanced patient safety.
Furthermore, the Reducing Health Inequalities in Primary Care QI Cervical Screening team has been acknowledged for their dedicated work to diminish health disparities. This effort has seen them shortlisted for the Primary Care Initiative of the Year award.
The HSJ Patient Safety Awards, established to highlight and appreciate exceptional patient care initiatives, is set to hold virtual presentations for the finalists from July 24-31. The winners will be announced on September 18 at the awards ceremony in Manchester Central.
We extend our congratulations to our ELFT colleagues for their outstanding efforts.
