Starting a new piece of QI work, or curious about what can help you with a particular issue? Your Project Charter, the Model for Improvement, and Driver Diagrams are 3 key tools that will get you up and running and continue to help with improvement projects.
In addition, some tools will help you at certain stages of your QI work, they will help with Identifying the quality issue; Understanding the problem; Developing a strategy and change ideas; Testing; and implementing & sustaining the gains. You can also use Communication Tools throughout the life-cycle of your improvement work. You can access some of our collection of tools for each of the stages of the Sequence of Improvement. Each tool contains guidance on what it is and how to use it, as well as any links to external sites and video tutorials on using the tool.
