Bedford Adult Recovery CMHT

The Bedford Adult Recovery community mental health team (CMHT) provides a comprehensive range of services for adults aged 18-65 years, who require a period of support maintaining their mental wellbeing and benefiting from the interventions offered by the team.

The Bedford Adult Recovery CMHT replaces the Adult CMHT function of care coordination and treatment for people with complex needs who require care coordination under CPA.

We will support service users and their families, to meet health and social care needs by working in collaboration and promoting recovery.

The team works with a range of outside agencies to ensure appropriate opportunities are available to those using the service.

The Bedford Adult Recovery CMHT multi-disciplinary teams include, administrative workers, doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, peer support workers, psychologists, social workers and carers support and service user support workers.
