THEDS provide 2 years of support and a package of care that is personalised to your needs and your goals. We work closely with you to ensure tailored, individualised support that empowers you to work towards what is meaningful for you. We will listen to your worries, supporting you to focus on your strengths and what will help you move forwards. We understand that there are many things that impact our mental health such as relationships, money worries, stress and isolation. We will think together with you about what areas in your life might be affecting your wellbeing.
How do THEDS support?
In your first assessment appointment, you will meet with one of our practitioners, usually a mental health nurse. He or she will simply get to know you and listen to your concerns about your mental health. This meeting will usually be at our office but can be arranged for another location if there is a difficultly in you attending.
During further meetings, you may meet with a psychologist and/or psychologist. Appointments usually last around one hour and can be arranged between the hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.
The assessment period can last up to six months and people who are appropriate for us to work with can receive up to an additional eighteen months of support.
