1. Evaluation: Before starting TMS treatment, you will undergo an initial evaluation to determine if TMS is suitable for you. This evaluation will include a thorough assessment of your medical history and current condition. 
2. Treatment sessions: TMS treatment involves multiple sessions, typically administered on consecutive weekdays over a period of several weeks. Each session usually lasts around 20-30 minutes. Occasionally, you might need to miss an individual session. Missing a session will not adversely affect the treatment outcome. The team will make up any missed sessions the end of the treatment course. 
3. Comfortable setting: During the session, you will sit in a comfortable chair, and the TMS technician will place the electromagnetic coil against your scalp. 
4. Sensations during treatment: You may experience tapping or clicking sounds, as well as mild sensations on your scalp during the magnetic pulses. These sensations are normal and generally well-tolerated. 
5. Continuing other treatments: TMS can be used as a standalone treatment or in combination with other therapies such as medication or psychotherapy. Your healthcare provider will discuss the best treatment plan for you.
