Staff profile
I started my journey with East London Foundation Trust in July 2016, as a health care support worker, on Sally Sherman Ward at EasthamCare Centre assisting the trained nurses to give outstanding, and compassionate care to our patients. A few months into my service with the trust, I started nursing with the hope of taking my career to another level.
In my quest to improve my lot and acquire more knowledge, I applied for RMN training and got admission into one of the prestigious universities and ELFT supported me in working part-time whilst I completed my course. Worthy to mention that while on this journey, TC-currently matron Admiral nursing and my manager then, is one of the brains working behind the scene in terms of time release, moral support and encouragement to see that I finished my nursing degree programme.
Today, I am proud to be called a staff nurse. I am proud to join a profession that upholds integrity and compassion, doing its utmost best to make people feel better, happy and hopeful in their hopeless situations.
