The feedback we receive is extremely important to us because we want our staff to feel positive about their work with us. We also know that there is a positive correlation between staff satisfaction and the quality of patient care we provide.

The information provided below is a highlight of our staff at SCYPS responses to the NHS Staff Survey. We truly value the participation and feedback from our staff. Each year, the service implements an action plan to continually address any concerns raised by our staff.

84% of surveyed staff felt they had 'opportunities to show initiative frequently in their role' (up 3% in 2020).
93% of SCYPS staff felt that they 'feel trusted to do their job' (up 1% in 2020).
89% of staff 'always know what their work responsibilities are' (up 8% in 2020).
81% of staff feel that they can 'approach immediate manager to talk openly about flexible working'.

80% of staff felt they 'receive the respect they deserve from colleagues at work (down 4% in 2020)
89% of staff 'enjoy working with colleagues in the team'.
83% of staff 'feel valued by their team'

86% of staff feel that 'colleagues are polite and treat each other with respect'.
83% of staff felt that 'colleagues are understanding and kind to one another'.
