The partnership focuses on training healthcare workers, improving leadership, and aligning projects with local health priorities to promote UHC and sustainable improvements.
Lucia shared a message about her journey as a mental health nurse in the NHS and how the project and charity she founded, the Zimbabwe Life Project, is strengthening mental health services through skills exchange between Zimbabwe and the UK, training, and resource support.
She added: "The Global Health Partnership's new report underscores the role of health partnerships in achieving Universal Health Coverage. It aligns with the UK government’s mission to build a future-ready NHS while showcasing the UK’s leadership in global health equity.
"Huge thanks to Ben Simms and our host, MP Lauren Sullivan, for bringing everyone together."
