KS1 Parent Coaching Workshops

Following the highly successful introduction of our co-produced Parent Coaching for pre-school children, we are offering this new evidence based OT parent programme for parents of children in KS1.

This offer comprises of a 5-week Parent Coaching Programme, to be held at a community school near to where you live. This programme will cover support for areas including sensory processing, sensory regulation and functional skills at home and in the community.

Parents have found this approach invaluable, as it empowers you to offer support to your child at home and at school. Many have reported the benefit of learning together with other parents. Following completion of the programme, you will receive a telephone appointment to review your child’s progress against their goals you set during the parent coaching.

As a parent, you many have concerns about how your child is managing with functional activities at school, like, getting changed for PE, developing self feeding skills, engaging in play in the playground, PE sessions and/or handwriting.

If this is the case speak to your SENCO about your concerns. They know how to contact us to tell us about your child and what they are finding difficult.
