The Urgent Community Response (UCR) team provides a 2-hour rapid response to the London borough of Newham everyday between 8am and 10pm. This service aims to provide an alternative for housebound residents to London Ambulance Service.
Victoria Medical Centre is an NHS GP practice which operates in Barking and Dagenham. The practice has two sites.
A 17-bedded established treatment ward. Male patients only. All inpatients have a thorough assessment of their care needs and risk. This leads to the development of a comprehensive treatment plan and a tailored rehabilitation programme .
Virtual wards allow clinically assessed patients to get the care they need safely, where they feel most comfortable: at home. It’s sometimes called 'hospital at home'.
