Getting Involved
Getting Involved
People Participation is about helping our service users and their carers to have a say in how we run THEWS. But more than that, it is also about working together so that we can offer a better service for all. We can only improve our services by listening to you and working with you to make sure we are delivering what you want.
How to get your voice heard
If you want to get involved with Participation and either improving THEWS or even the Tower Hamlets Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), please do consider joining a participation team that we work with. Our NHS Trust has a Participation Team that work with anyone who has within the last year received help from CAMHS and THEWS. Email the participation team to find out more: elft.peopleparticipation@nhs.net
We also recommend you get involved with Spotlight, who frequently organise events and work that influences local offerings.
Your school may also have Wellbeing Ambassadors run in conjunction with Spotlight, where you can learn practical ways to help your peers and improve wellbeing within your school. The wellbeing ambassadors are also frequently asked for advice in service improvement.
