Parent and carers
For parents and carers
We are here to help your children who may be having a difficult time. We work with their schools to provide a wellbeing led approach, and we look to you as parent and carers to help us on this journey.
How We Can Help
We are here to support 4-19 year olds who attend school or college by giving them the tools they need to build positive mental health. Your child may be experiencing low mood, anxiety or behavioural difficulties, and we can help you and them approach these.
For older children in secondary school & college, we can offer direct intervention work and workshops for them. For children in primary school, we need your support, and we work with you directly to help them.
We help with mild-moderate needs, and our individual sessions run for one hour weekly (for 6-8 weeks). You can read more on what we help with below.
Resources
We want you to know what is out there for you and your child, so we’ve included some links and resources to National, London, and Tower Hamlet’s based services that may be of interest.
Tower Hamlets work with some apps that you may be interested in. For 7–12-year-old children, they can explore their worries with your support via the Lumi Nova gaming app, and for young people 13 and over, they can anonymously join the carefully administrated Kooth Community for journaling and wellbeing advice.
