Our Schools

Working with Schools

You can access our services if you are a staff member, student, or parent/carer at one of our partner schools in Tower Hamlets. We help schools to embed their Whole School Approach which brings mental wellbeing to the forefront. We deliver three core functions to our schools:

  1. Direct Intervention Work with Young People 
  2. Embedding the Whole School Approach and delivering Workshops to staff, parents and pupils 
  3. Signposting to correct service for a specific issue and providing consultation with staff

We work at 56 schools in Tower Hamlets. Our delivery partners, Step Forward and Docklands Outreach help us by working directly with nine of these schools.

We provide Universal workshops for all children, young people, parents and staff of Tower Hamlet’s schools to attend, which you can find on our events calendar. If you would like your school to work with us, please do not hesitate to contact elft.thews@nhs.net to find out more.

We are currently at capacity, but strongly encourage you to discuss with school staff what mental health provisions are available. You can find other services that may be available to you in our Resources section.
